Whew!

I have just spent pretty much the entire day that wasn't directly devoted to necessary tasks finishing up the Interference duo of books in the Eight Doctor Adventures. My mind is slightly broken. My signal will resume normal transmission tomorrow. Possibly.

Also, LJ hook is not compatible with firefox 4. WOE.

Don't know if the copy you have has this cover, but I just felt like using this icon here.

BAWWWWW FITZ. ;____;

I do not have a BAWWW icon. BAWWWWW
It doesn't, but BAWWWWWW all the same! BAWWWWWW Doctor, too.

Is it bad that I want a Jimmy Stewart mask to frighten people who are recovering from mental breakdown?

Yay, you're back on the radar again!

I, uh, haven't got to Interference yet, I'm still on Genocide. (And partway through The Eight Doctors, but I've got to finish Trial of a Timelord before I finish that.) But I'm enjoying Sam a lot, so all is good for now. (Although I'm looking forward so much to getting to Fitz. So much.)

I did disappear for too long, didn't I?

No spoilers, then. It will threaten to break your brain, though, so maybe plowing through it quickly isn't the best approach.

Hahaha, your icon. Shoes! (I got the movie for my birthday, and we're watching it as soon as we get a weekend when we're all together. It's gonna be so funny watching everyone else's reactions...) XD

I keep doing the same thing, though, so I can't really get mad at you for it. (I mean, I'm still reading stuff, but I just don't update...) I'm just happy to see you again!

I'll keep the brain-breakage in mind, thanks.

He's adorable when he's excited, isn't he? And it's always fun to watch things with a group, especially if some or all haven't seen it before.

It's like after you get more than so many days behind, the quiet sort of develops it's own inertia. I'm glad there's no hard feelings. *hug*

Oh yes, he is! XD And, well, sometimes it's fun to watch things with a group (not when you're one of the people who hasn't seen it, and someone else in the room just won't shut up *twitch*). But I'm really looking forward to this one.

Inertia, yes. That's it exactly, it's like not writing for a while, you start to think, "Well, I can put it off another day and start again tomorrow" and then it's a month later and you still haven't done anything. I get it. *hugs*

There is that aspect, yes. The MST3K treatment is only fun when you've seen it. I hate watching special features on anything with my mother for this reason. She's usually fairly quiet during a show, just the odd comment, which I don't mind, or if she has to have a quick rant about something, she'll pause it. As soon as the special feature starts, though, she will. Not. Shut. UP. Rarely, she'll pause it for a moment, but mostly just lets it run. Invariably, if she's quiet, it's during the less interesting bits. It drives me bats, but I don't think there's a way I can tell her that without hurting her feelings, so I'm stuck with quiet fuming.

Thanks for understanding.

But - but - but why would anyone wanna talk during the informative bits? It doesn't make sense!

I KNOW. Yet, somehow, she's all chatty for like, 80% of the time. I'm just glad it's not genetic.
